Who: Families and Individuals. Open to all persons, whether they have attended a Walk to Emmaus, Chrysalis or Journey weekend or not.
What: Third Annual Regional Emmaus/Chrysalis Gathering
When: August 30-September 1, 2008
Where: Epworth By The Sea on St. Simons Island, GA
Why: God is providing a wonderful opportunity for the Emmaus/Chrysalis Communities to gather for Praise and Worship, spiritual renewal, fellowship with family and friends in Christ and the opportunity to enhance our ministry through the Walk to Emmaus!

- Sing wonderful Praise and Worship Music
- Hear inspiring 4th Day Talks
- Keynote speakers from your Regional Directors
- Take part in breakout groups on sponsorship, spiritual growth in the fourth day, clergy qualifications, leading worship music, team selection/team formation, and learn all about the importance of Chrysalis.
- You don’t want to miss out on our yummy Labor Day picnic under the majestic oak tress on Epworth’s beautiful grounds.

Located on the banks of the historic Frederica River, Epworth By The Sea is a ministry owned and operated by the South Georgia Conference of the United Methodist Church. The property was purchased on October 29, 1949 and the gates opened in 1950.
One of the finest Christian Retreat Centers in the Southeast, Epworth is a hospitality ministry open to all whose goals are consistent with its mission which is “to provide a Christian place for worship, study and fellowship.”
