Prayer Request for Vicki McDonald

Monday, September 17th, 2007

Please pray for my wife Vicki McDonald. She fell Thurs 9-13-07 and broke her ankle and a bone in her foot. We see the orthopedic surgeon Monday and we are praying that it will heal quickly with minimal complications. Vicki is supposed to serve as table leader on the upcoming women’s walk this month at Honey Creek. Pray she will be able to serve. Please also remember my sister-in-law Terrie McDonald battling a rare form of bone marrow cancer. She and my brother Bill live in Houston and she in undergoing 6 months of daily chemo.

Thank you and Decolores!!

Prayer Request for Cristi Anderson

Tuesday, September 11th, 2007

Please remember my daughter-in-law, Cristi Anderson. She has just been admitted to the hospital with pneumonia and a possible blood clot in her lung. She is hesitant to have a CAT scan because she is in the early stages of pregnancy. She and my son, Patrick, also have a 9 month son. Our prayer is for her healing and the protection of the fetus. It is a very scary time for all of us, but I know that the Lord is in control of this situation.

Also, pray for Patrick as he tries to balance work, his wife’s illness and a 9 month old. If he doesn’t work, he doesn’t get a pay check. We covet your prayers and thank you in advance for them.

Prayer Request for Kimberly Johnson

Tuesday, September 11th, 2007

(Prayer request from Dayspring Walk to Emmaus)

Please pray for my baby sister, Kimberly Johnson. She is 35 and mother of three, she was been told Thursday that a tumor behind her eye is melanoma cancer. We won’t have any other information until next week about what to expect. Thanks, Darla K. Burkett, Walk#47

The email below is from my sister. Cliffy is her stepson. Debra Taylor Dayspring Walk #12, I got a call from Cliff tonight, his son Cliffy had a bad accident and had to get his left leg, from 6 inches below the knee amputated. Apparently they were unloading a piece of machinery from a trailer and it slipped out of gear and slammed into the truck, were Cliffy was standing. I talked to him at the hospital, and he seemed to be in good spirits. The doctor said that it was a good thing, that his bones shattered so well. Saturday, they will do another surgery, and then fit him for an orthopedic leg. So will yall please put him on your prayer list, so God will help him heal thru this process. Love to all Lisa

Doug and I want to thank everyone for their prayers as he was ordained a couple of weeks ago. We have been at a different church every Sunday and we give God all the praise!!!!I am typing this in a motel room in Augusta where we are to minister tomorrow. On the way up here, our car started sputtering and skipping. The engine light came on. We have never had a minutes trouble until today. Please pray that we can make it back home and not have any trouble. Also, please continue to pray for our ministry as God is opening up doors for us everyday.

God Bless You, Suzanne Hutchinson, Dayspring Emmaus Walk

Update on Nancy Avery

Tuesday, September 4th, 2007

My friend Nancy Avery and I would like to thank you all for your prayers and ask that you continue to pray for her. Due to the Labor Day holiday her treatment was moved up a few days. She is scheduled to start chemo tomorrow (Monday the 3rd) and then undergo the stem cell transplant the following day (Tuesday the 4th). I told her how all you were praying for her and she said she could tell that she can feel it, praise God! So please hold her up the next few days as she will more than likely be very ill. Nancy has never been on a walk but she expressed her wishes to go when she gets home and gets healthy.

Thank you so very much and God Bless, Judy Wood, GCWTE #76, table of Ruth
