There will be a visitation Friday evening the 31st from 6 to 8 pm at Edo Miller & Sons Funeral Home in Brunswick. Take exit 38, Golden Isles Parkway, off 95 and head east. You’ll merge south into US 17 and immediately look to the right. You can exit at the very next light (4th Street) and the Funeral home is on the left, or you can go another block down on US 17 to 3rd Street (there’s a Shell service station there); take that turn the funeral home is on the right. Easy to find.
Saturday, September 1, there will be a “Celebration of Life Service” at St. Simons United Methodist Church in the village area of the Island’s south end on Ocean Blvd. This service, led by Jim Jensen with music led by Carter Akens, will begin at 11:00 am and will be followed by a reception in the Thorpe Building between the main sanctuary and the ocean.
